--WHAT IS INCLUDED?--

We include entrance fees, snack and all the water you can drink. We also provide an ice chest on board for your use.

--WHAT DO I BRING?--

A camera, good walking shoes. light comfortable clothing and a smile.

--IS THIS A BUMPY RIDE?--

The H-1 military Hummer is the state of the art off road vehicle. The road that we travel may not be the best for a Jeep or SUV. But, our vehicles have independent 1 ton suspensions that make it a comfortable ride for everyone from 6 months of age to 100. Come see the National Park far from where others can venture.

--WHAT ABOUT SUMMER - IS IT TOO HOT?--

We leave when temperatures are cool in the morning in the Palm Springs area. Summer temperatures can reach over 100 degrees in Palm Springs. However, our tour climbs up to elevation 4200 feet where temperatures are typically 75 to 85 degrees even in the Summer. We also leave earlier in the Summer. Summer is actually the best time for this tour. Even when it is 80 in Palm Springs it might be some 50 degrees in the National Park!

--WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN H-1 AND AN H-2 HUMMER?--

The H-1 Hummer is a military class Hummer, also once called a Humvee. Once General Motors started selling the Hummer brand, they introduced the H-2. The H-2 has none of the offroad abilities afforded to the H-1 but it is lot more affordable. A true H-1 with all the armor upgrades costs some $100,000 more then an H-2. Also, we avoid a tour in just another car. The H-1s we use on this tour are OPEN AIR and provide a full sensory experience of the desert.

--CAN I CANCEL A TOUR WITH A REFUND?--

We offer a full refund provided you call us at least 24 hours prior.

--IS THERE TIME OFF THE HUMMER TOUR?--

We offer an hour off the Hummer for optional walks and photo stops. One of our stops takes you to our Oasis where there is a washroom for your use as well as a nice walk into a beautiful shaded area with benches.

--RECOMMENDED AGE RANGE?--

6 months to 103 years. Ask about foldup wheelchair area. We also can provide a child seat if you have a child under 40 lbs.

--CAN I JUST SHOW UP FOR A TOUR AND PAY ON THE DAY?--

This is one of the most popular activities in the Palm Springs area as a permited tour to the National Park. As we are limited in how many people we can take each day, we are typically soldout. We recommend reserving no more then 3 days in advance on normal days and even a month in advance of Summer and holidays. Click here to reserve your space.
